Location: Carlow, Ireland

Job Type: Full Time | Permanent

Salary: €36,000 – 40,000

About the Role

A growing technology-focused organisation is seeking a Junior .NET Developer with 1–2 years’ experience to join their development team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to strengthen their full-stack skills while working with modern technologies.

You’ll gain hands-on exposure to .NET/C#, front-end frameworks, and cloud-based systems while contributing to real production applications. The environment is supportive, collaborative, and ideal for developers eager to progress.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using .NET/C#
• Work with modern front-end technologies such as JavaScript and Angular or React
• Assist with building and maintaining APIs and system integrations
• Collaborate with senior developers on design and technical decisions
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement
• Contribute to documentation and team knowledge sharing

Required Skills

• 1–2 years’ experience in software development
• Knowledge of C# / .NET
• Experience with JavaScript and a modern framework (Angular or React)
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and UI principles
• Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON
• Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment

Desirable Skills

• Exposure to SQL databases
• Basic understanding of cloud services (Azure or AWS)
• Experience with version control (Git)

Working Model

• Hybrid: 1–2 days per week in the Carlow office
